  1. What is the Campaign About?

Operation Get up! Stand up! Its About Livelihoods and is a rallying call for civil society to be mobilized against the continuing destruction of livelihoods due to the current process of trade liberalization.

  1. Who or what will the campaign target?

This campaign is specifically targeting the negotiators involved in the third phase of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) negotiations between the Caribbean and the European Union. The third phase, which is the real negotiating phase, will be launched in St Lucia on the last week of September.

The impact of trade liberalization will affect us all. Right now, it is affecting farmers and their families; it is affecting workers as firms move from the region to cheaper places of business. It is affecting our government
